In Memory of Ed Keune

I’d like to take a minute to tell you about an amazing man who many of us were privileged to know.
Ed had the ability to bring a smile to the faces of all our clothing bank clients, staff and those with whom he interacted. He was a kind, generous and amazing person. He was well respected by the clients of the clothing bank for whom he always had kind words.

Ed’s passion for working at the clothing bank was surpassed only by his love for his wife and family and of course his cat, Misty. He shared many stories with me regarding Misty and her antics. He would tell me how Misty enjoyed licking clean his ice cream sticks. Ed enjoyed relaxing time with staff every day at 12:30 at the soup kitchen with a cup of coffee brewed special by Lenny. Ed devoted his retirement years caring for people in need. He was a humble, compassionate man. Ed was universally loved by all of us who had the privilege to work with him and he will be greatly missed.

We will continue Ed’s mission!
