Dishwasher - Community Kitchen
Mondays - Fridays, 10:00 am - 1:00 pm OR
Mondays - Fridays, 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm
A dishwasher is a crucial part of our kitchen team. They wash, sanitize, and dry various kitchen items, including trays, pots, pans, and utensils. They must operate the sanitizer machine efficiently and maintain a clean washing station. This role requires attention to detail and a commitment to a clean and organized kitchen. Feel free to join us for one or two regular shifts each week, or if you prefer, you can fully commit to the entire week. We warmly invite volunteers to share a meal with us during lunchtime too!
Building Maintenance
Weekdays, 5-10 Hrs per week (flexible)
We are looking for 2-4 people to join our maintenance team here at Cornerstone. These individuals will complete or coordinate tasks such as carpentry, drywall, painting, building upgrades, basic plumbing/HVAC/electrical, coordinate with vendors, etc. to help maintain our buildings, grounds, and equipment. Our goal is to build a team of volunteers that can share this responsibility together so our buildings and grounds can be maintained well without putting this task all on one person.
Social Media Coordinator
Weekdays, 5 - 10 hours per week (flexible)
Seeking a volunteer with strong proficiency in Facebook and Instagram to assist with social media management. Responsibilities include crafting engaging online interactions, planning and scheduling campaigns, sourcing or creating compelling imagery for posts, and promptly responding to social media inquiries and messages.
Website Manager
Weekdays, 5 hours per week (flexible)
Cornerstone is seeking a dedicated and skilled Website Manager to join our team. This position requires a commitment of approximately 5-10 hours per week to efficiently update and maintain our website, which is built on the Wix platform. The ideal candidate will have experience in Wix website design, ensuring they can navigate the platform seamlessly to enhance the user experience and keep our online presence up to date.
Event Coordinator
Weekdays, 5 - 10 hours per week (flexible)
Cornerstone is a dynamic organization that annually manages a diverse portfolio of more than 50 events. We are seeking a proficient Event Coordinator to join our team, dedicated to optimizing event planning and execution. This role demands a candidate with a strong background in event planning and project management, ensuring meticulous organization, efficient processes, and timely task completion to guarantee the success of each event.
Food Cupboard Help
Mondays & Fridays, 9:00 am - 1:00 pm As Needed
Join our team at the Food Cupboard as a valuable backup volunteer, ready to lend a helping hand as needed. Your role may involve tasks such as loading and unloading food from the van, sorting food items, packing bags, and any other duties essential to the smooth operation of our pantry. As a backup team member, your support will be needed on Mondays or Fridays. Your commitment will not only contribute to the efficient functioning of our food distribution efforts but also make a meaningful impact in the lives of those in our community who depend on our services. Your flexibility and dedication will be greatly appreciated as we work together to address food insecurity and support those in need.
