Cornerstone Foundation, Inc. Online Privacy Policies effective May 25, 2018  

 

The following policy applies only to information we collect through this platform. This policy does not apply to information that we collect through other channels.  

 

How We Collect the Information

The “subscribe now” link on the Home and Contact Us page is used to collect name and email. The Volunteer form on “Donate and Volunteer page” can be filled in and submitted digitally. The “Donate page” is used for online giving with a credit card.  

 

What Information Do We Collect

You may visit our site anonymously. We do collect name and email for those interested in subscribing to receive updates on events and needs; and for volunteers we collect name, address, email, phone numbers, and availability. We store this information until you ask us to delete them.  

 

For online donations we collect through a 3rd party, www.justgiving.com. We collect name, address and amount donated. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of this third-party service. https://www.justgiving.com/info/privacy-policy-versions/privacy-policy-v20  

 

Through Google Analytics we automatically collect information that measures session information, device used, page response times, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information and methods used to browse away from our page. See link below for their privacy policies.  

 

How We Use the Information

The names and emails are used to send out “Shout Outs” about upcoming Cornerstone events, fundraising or if there is an urgent need for volunteers or food and clothing items. The Volunteer Form info is to match a person interested in helping Cornerstone with our needs for help. The name and credit card info is used to apply your donation to help with our financial needs.  

 

If you wish to be taken off the email list, contact us via email info@cornerstone-cares.org at any time and we will remove your name and email address.  

 

Sharing the Information

We do not share any of the information you provide. We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personal information. This does not include trusted 3rd parties who assist us with our website and donations. We may release your information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, or protect others’ rights, property, or safety.

How We Communicate with Site Visitors

We may contact you with information on Cornerstone via email you provide volunteers we may contact you via email, phone call or postal mail.

 

Storage of information and Cookies

Our website is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Wix.com provides us with the online platform that allows us to give you information on what we do. Your data may be stored through Wix.com’s data storage, databases and the general Wix.com applications. They s on secure servers behind a firewall.
