Every year in August, Vernon participates in a nation wide event called National Night Out.
This year NNO will be held on August 1, 2023 in downtown Rockville. The idea behind NNO is that our public safety teams and community groups get together to promote a sense of community and to promote safer and more caring neighborhoods.
Cornerstone will be participating, as we have for many years. We will offer games, stuffed animals, some yummy treats, and lots of information about our programs. It’s a great opportunity to have some fun, get some swag, and meet the people in the community who are here to help Vernon residents all through the year. Free hot dogs and beverages are provided and there are school supplies galore.
So, come and say hi to Cornerstone staff under our big white tent, play a little corn hole, get a cute stuffie and meet up with your friends for a fun night offered at no cost by our friends from the Vernon Community Network, the Vernon Police Department and the Rockville Downtown Association.
Hope we see you there!
