The Clothing Bank: A Lifeline for Our Community

The Cornerstone’s Clothing Bank plays a vital role in our community's well-being. We ensure individuals and families facing financial hardship have access to clothing, everyday essentials, and the resources they need to thrive.

More than Clothes: A Helping Hand

We're more than just a place to get free clothes. We're a lifeline, offering a helping hand to those in need. We provide a variety of essential items, including:

  • Clothing: Warm clothes for winter, cool clothes for summer, professional attire for job interviews, and everyday essentials for all ages.

  • Household Goods: Housewares, small appliances, and small furniture to create a comfortable and functional home environment.

  • Basic Necessities: Hygiene products, toys, books, and more.

Your Donation Makes a Difference

By donating gently used or new items, you directly impact the lives of people facing financial hardship. Gift card donations allow us to purchase much-needed items we're short on. We also support the homeless and those living in shelters. This support

empowers individuals and families to focus on overcoming challenges and building a brighter future.

Together, We Thrive

The Clothing Bank thrives on the compassion and generosity of our community. Your decision to donate inspires others to give back, fostering a spirit of shared responsibility.

It is very gratifying that we have been able to help so many people over the years. We hear over and over again how grateful they are to have a place to come for help. We always provide what we can, and that's thanks to all the donations we receive

.

Here is a note I would like to share, written by one of our clients, Luz:

Hello, my name is Luz. I’m a grandma, but now I’m a foster grandma for five of my grandkids. My life changed in seconds one day. I had an unexpected surprise to say the least, when I came home from work. The State of Connecticut wanted to remove my grandkids from their parent’s house and bring them to a foster care home. It was then when I made the decision, my job or the kids. Of course I chose to take in my grandkids. I didn’t have anything prepared for this situation, so I went to the Clothing Bank and spoke with Christine. She offered clothes, beds and everything I needed that was required by foster care. Between Christine, Jacqui and all the volunteers at Cornerstone, they made my life a lot better and easier to take care of my five grandkids whose ages ran from 13 to 4 1/2 months.
One of the saddest moments was when I heard about the death of Bryan. He helped me to fill the refrigerator the day after the kids arrived. Foster care only gave me 24 hours to get the house ready and livable for all the children. I can’t thank all the volunteers enough for all the help they give me over and over again. This organization is truly a blessing to me and my family. It has been almost three years now with my five grandchildren living with me, and yet Cornerstone continues to help with all my family needs. Again, thank you so much to all the Cornerstone staff for all your help.
Love, Luz Nieto

We Thank You

We extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who donates to The Clothing Bank Etc. Your contributions, big or small, help us provide essential items to those in need.

Software quality assurance is becoming more intelligent as AI enables systems to analyze, plan, and execute testing activities with greater independence. These capabilities can reduce repetitive work while helping teams respond to rapid application changes. Understanding what is agentic QA (primary) helps organizations explore modern approaches to scalable, adaptive, and efficient software testing.

Initiatives like this make a real difference by providing essential support to those in need while strengthening community bonds. It’s inspiring to see how access to clothing can restore confidence and dignity. It also reminds us how meaningful clothing can be whether it’s for necessity or expression, like choosing from TV Series Jackets, which bring style and personality into everyday wear.
